Following a period of competitor research and surveys, Westwood Christian School came to us with the challenge of reinvigorating their brand and tackling a slide in student applications.
After our assessment of the current Westwood brand, we developed the positioning statement of:
We inspire. We believe. We succeed.
"We welcome our students into a caring, supportive and dynamic environment, helping them to realize their full potential to become the absolute best version of themselves."
This allowed us to set the bar for the development of the whole brand architecture, including messaging and visual identity.
We developed the overarching concept of ‘together’, using a blend of Christian values and a notion of achievement through collaboration, implying that through ‘togetherness’ students will not only be spiritually fulfilled, but academically accomplished too. With this in mind, throughout collateral we stylized the ‘We’ from Westwood to embody the idea of togetherness and illustrate the importance of church and education within the wider community.
